I appreciate my life in a new way since leaving the work force. My health was not good and I was having great difficulty getting up at the crack of dawn each morning. I would leave my house before six each day and not return until six or seven in the evening. It was even later if I had a meeting to attend. I ended up exhausted and just thinking about a way to change my life completely.
That came in 2006 when I decided to resign for my teaching position and to start giving away my best real estate clients to others. I knew that I was burning my bridges and that would be the best way to completely start over.
The first year was a struggle financially. There were days when I thought I had made a poor decision. But I refused to give up. I kept blogging and writing articles to promote some affiliate products. I began to make some money. That motivated me to start holding regular weekly teleseminars.
Teleseminars changed everything in my business because my prospects could now hear my voice and connect with me online. I soon started a mentor program to teach others how to get started. That was followed by courses and products.
Choose a niche and start blogging and writing articles. Promote two or three affiliate products. Do this consistently and watch what happens. Building an online empire is something that anyone can do, if you are just willing to take the steps to get started.
